MY IBO HUSBAND WANT TO GO TO HIS VILLAGE IN DECEMBER DESPITE RECESSION
I am a Yoruba woman joyfully married to a fantastic and exceptional Ibo Man. I have been married to my husband for over 9 years,I know he loves to go to his village every December for Christmas and new year and I have been going with him in the last 7 years.
I have a problem with our going to the village this year as we don’t have money,he needs at least 400k to travel to the village with me,children and five boys that stays with us,this includes the amount to maintain us in the village, coupled with all village expenses which can not really be budgeted until our last day in the Village.
His business has been in shambles since Buhari became president and it is getting worse by the day,I have been feeding him,the children and these boys for the past nine months through my own salary.
Now my husband is looking for money to go to the village by all means,he is even ready to borrow,he has been pestering me to take a loan in the office for the purpose while am still paying the loan for the one of last year,to him if I don’t take the loan I don’t love him and his people, this is really shattering the joy in my home, can somebody pease help me out, must we go to the village paying through our blood? I don’t really understand.
